2015 review and Happy New Year to all our supporters

Thank you all for your support over the past year and the oncoming years and we hope you have all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We have had no internet connection or direct phone lines for two weeks because a tree fell down on Christmas Eve knocking the phone cables down.
Back in November we put a collection box on our counter for our Christmas Day Turkey fund and we amazingly raised £180. Thank you to everybody who gave us their loose change. All of the cats thoroughly enjoyed their fresh cooked roast turkeys on Christmas day.  Most of them were kindly donated from Mandy Smith Traditional Butchers in Hythe High Street and the rest we had to buy.

Burnham House Vets in Dover ran a Purrs in Parcels Donation Scheme for us whereby the surgery was full of pictures of sanctuary cats and clients and visitors donated food and toys for their benefit. They also ran a charity pet shop for people to buy gifts and all the proceeds for this were divided between us and Happy Endings in Faversham who take in and re home abandoned dogs.

The sanctuary has also received Christmas presents from friends and supporters of over £1,500. This makes a huge difference to our budget over the Christmas period. Our thanks to all our supporters and best wishes for the new year.

The cats say thanks too!
