The late Veronica Huthwaite had more than 40 cats with her in the bungalow. The winter of2007 has seen the end of an era with the passing of Daisy, a pedigree red Persian girl.
The present company comprise Archie, a 14 year old cream British shorthair left lame in his hind legs from a road accident, big white Norman now 3+, Best in Show in the non-Pedigree Section at the Kentish Cat Society Show in '06, Toffee who came to us as a kitten with one half-formed hind leg, Mr Darcey, born to a feral mum and with a congential hernia repaired by the skill of our Vets, Nutmeg, now 2 and one of a litter of kittens abandoned with their mother and brought to us by the Council's housing staff and Ernest, an old boy from Watford who everyone feels sorry for and has a wonderful time looking pathetic.. They all get on splendidly with our Manageress Tracey's labrador/retriever cross bred boy "Oscar".
